The impact of our work continues to resonate in homes and hearts across the world.

On a typical working day, you will:

  • Lead, grow, and develop a central team of Data Analysts, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Ensure and promote data-informed decision-making to improve business performance, working within cross-functional data product teams.
  • Ensure solutions continuously deliver value to Inter IKEA Group by working closely with stakeholders across different functions and adapting to evolving business needs.
  • Evaluate the usability and potential of structured internal and external data sources for product analytics and data-driven decision-making.
  • Write complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and load data as part of robust data processing pipelines, using joins, nesting, and advanced operations.
  • Conduct advanced data exploration and analysis using modern data mining techniques (including machine learning) and visualization tools to generate actionable insights.

Qualifications

The role as a Data Analyst requires you to have:

  • Expertise in building scalable analytics and insight products (e.g., Power BI), with a good ability to translate business needs into actionable data solutions and storytelling-driven dashboards.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python, including use of notebook environments to analyze data, share insights, and enable reproducible analytics workflows.
  • Strong understanding of data mining techniques and data exploration across large datasets to support decision-making and uncover business opportunities.
  • Solid foundation in probability and statistics, including hypothesis testing and experimental design (e.g., A/B testing) to validate business hypotheses.
  • Experience with data engineering concepts and end-to-end data pipelines, with the ability to understand the full lifecycle from raw data sources to business insight.
  • Familiarity with collaborative software engineering practices (Agile, DevOps) and data product development principles focused on iterative delivery and continuous improvement.
  • An IKEA experience is a must

It’s a plus if you also:

  • Have experience building analytics or insight products at scale
  • Have experience working with hypothesis testing, A/B testing or performance measurement
