Test Engineer to aviation communications assignment

We’re now looking for a Test Engineer to join our customer’s System Test Team in Lyngby, Denmark. You’ll be part of a skilled, international environment working with advanced technical solutions where reliability, performance and safety are key.

What will you do?

As Test Engineer, you will work hands-on with verifying and validating complex software and system solutions. In practice, this means you will:

• Define and refine software testing processes to meet stringent industry standards

• Lead test management, including planning, monitoring, and issue management

• Plan, execute, and document system and software tests, both manual and automated

• Collaborate closely with developers and other stakeholders to clarify requirements, analyse defects and improve test coverage

• Contribute to the development and improvement of test processes, tools and automation

You’ll play an important role in ensuring that new releases are robust, thoroughly tested, reliable and secure for use in demanding customer environments.

Who are we looking for?

You have a structured, disciplined and detail-focused way of working, a fearless “can-do” attitude toward new tasks, a strong continuous-improvement mindset with a drive to meet deadlines, and you’re a true team player who values collaboration.

You also have:

• A technical degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a similar field (or equal relevant work experience)

• ISTQB certification, Foundation level/Test manager

• Experience working in UMTS or LTE Radio Technologies

• Experience with software and/or system testing, including working with test cases, requirement-driven design and validation process

• Knowledge of data communication and network protocols, and the ability to read and understand technical documentation

• Experience in debugging issues in Embedded Systems

• Experience with test automation and scripting (for example in Python, C#, Bash or similar)
